Where are they now?

Claire Chatham  (nee Anslow), left The London on qualifying to marry Richard and moved to Nottingham. Worked in theatres at the QMC then to Trent Polytechnic and District Nursing. We moved to Suffolk in 1983, where I worked in a small Community Hospital until the arrival of Charlotte in 1987 and Alice in 1989. After a five year break when the girls were tiny, I returned part time to the Nuffield Hospital in Bury St. Edmunds where I am still involved in general and orthopaedic surgery. Being one of the longer serving staff members means that I am used as an historical reference point (not very flattering) where did the time go!!!!

Since moving to Suffolk we have spent a lot of time renovating an aged thatched cottage and generally doing all the local rural community activities which make us sound like minor characters in The Archers!! We are hopelessly addicted to horses and the girls competitively event, so lots of hours spent in soggy farmland throughout East Anglia.  Charlotte has just started an Early Years Degree with a view to primary school teaching and Alice is in the sixth form. Richard copes bravely with being seriously outnumbered on the girly front, he clocks up a lot of airmiles!!! Stella, Nicy, Sarah and Alison and I have seen a lot of each other over the years and it will be great to meet more of you soon. Thanks so much Jane for working so hard
